PROGRAMME

    The one year diploma in rural management (DRM) Programme with 30 intake capacity of the Institute has been approved by the National council for co-operative Training (NCCT) ,New Delhi.

 Scope

The Institute is committed to offer maximum learning advantages to the students through the well structured programme .MICM is well equipped with the infrastructure facilities to build competent managers for corporate and other sectors. The DRM programme offers advanced level of training of theory, methods and applications in business management along with specialized training in some selected functional areas. The course curriculum helps the student acquire conceptual and analytical abilities required for making and implementing managerial decision effectively . However besides the understanding of the various management functions they are required to make their eyes wide open on the development of natinal as well as international economic and business conditions to cope with the challendges in their job situations. The institue takes proper care for personality development and inclucate Executive –Like –Quality.

CURRICULUM

The institute follows the course curriculum of the One year DRM programme . the whole programme is spread over in two semesters . At the end of 1st senester there will be a Project  placement of 4 weeks duration . At the end of the programme i.e after the second semester there will be a viva voce test which is meant to understand the participants ability to rejoin the therories into practice.

TEACHING METHODOLOGY 

The institue adopts the student oriented participative learning systems to make the classroom dicussion more effective . Lectures are supplemented by cases,assignment,excrcises ,group duscussion role play and students presentation . Further the use of audivisions such as TV,VCR,OHP makes the lecture more interesting and fruitful.

 The institute organizes Seminar from time totime in which the participation of each student is compulsory . The students are required to present their papars either in individual or in group in the Seminar . Eminent persons are invited to share their real life experiences with the faculy and the students. This provides an opportunity to the students to exchange their views with eminet professional and experts. 

 

RESEARCH AND CONSULTANCY

 

The institue undertakes several research activities in different area by using the wide seperience of the faculty . it provides consulatancy to user organizations on specific request.

 

 EXTRA CURRICULAR ACITIVITIES

 

 The institute provides ample opportunitity for all round development of the students. The students are expected to built their career and develop therir personality in a conducive enviroment . they actively participate in various tournaments ,business school meets,literary competitons organized at university/State/Natioanl levels. The institute is having facilities for indoor games.

 

 PROJECT PLACEMENT

 

 At the end of the first semester ,students will have to undergo project placement training in any organization with the approval of the authority of the institute for a period of four weeks . This provides an opportunity to the students to relate the calls room learning to work sttuation . During the project training he/she will prepare a report under the joint quidance of a company executive and an internal guide form the indtitute.

 

 The students are expected to choose a project for the above training in a specific area in due consultation with the sponsoring organization . The students may be offered Field allowance/Travelling  Experience by the sponsoring organization for the project work. The student are required to submit one copy of the project report to the institute as well as to the sponsoring organization after evaluation of the same by the institute.

 

 ADMISSION PROCEDURE 

 

  1. Duly filled in  Application form (prescribed) along with the Xerox copied of all academic qualities must be submitted on or before the due date.

  2. The candidate is required to attend the the entrance test on scheduled date to be advertised every year.

  3. Admission of selected students will start normally from 1st August every year

  4. The DRM Programme  will commence generally from the second week of August every year.
